Steve Butler's 1981 Cherokee

Here's a picture of my '81 Cherokee. It started life as a Laredo, but I've turned it into a chief clone. It has a pro-built AMC 360 with Edelbrock Performer and Carter 4 bbl. Transmission is a 4-speed, and is just about the only major component not rebuilt or replaced. It has 3.54 gears with a Detroit Locker in the rear. I did everything on the truck myself, including the bodywork and paint, which is a '97 Chrysler minivan base/clear burgundy. It's close to the original color, but looks a lot better. The picture was taken on Vancouver Island, B.C.
