olate1.jpg (24351 bytes) My 1998 Samurai Pickup, basically a Samurai LWB made in Spain by Santana Motors, with the 1298cc and 69HP fuel injected catalyzed stock Japanese engine. olate3.jpg (20276 bytes) All the pictures were taken in Ritoque's dunes, a beach north of Concon, more than a hundred hectares of dunes.

Mods

  • 3" lift custom shackles
  • 3" custom lifted springs (home made mod on stock springs)
  • 6" final lift
  • Extra leaf on front springs, from my old SJ410 stock rear springs
  • Front and rear Rancho 1000 shocks, 4" longer than stock

  • Removed front sway bar, great axle travel now!
  • Front bumper removed, after (an emergency) landing over a Vitara in the dunes
  • Modified brake lines
  • Vitara JLX '89 driving wheel

  • 235/75 15" Woosong AT tyres (great ride!)
  • 7" steel wheels
