What is an FSJ (Full Size Jeep)?

Mar. 01, 2000 By ORC STAFF
An "FSJ" is any vehicle produced in North America, carrying the "Jeep" nameplate, with 2 or 4drs, in 2 or 4wd, whose wheelbase does not exceed 132", nor is less than 109", and whose tread width is no more than 63" nor less than 57". This definition is known to include the following models:
  • Cherokee: 1974-1983
  • Wagoneer: 1963-1983
  • Grand Wagoneer: 1984-1991
  • Gladiator and J-series pickup: 1963-1987
  • M-715 Military versions and its derivatives

If you're looking for info, etc. on 1984 and up XJ's or ZJ's (the little Cherokees, Wagoneers and Grand Cherokees) you've come to the wrong place.

The websites you want, which are also here on Off-Road.com, are Cherokee America , or Grand Cherokee UnLimited .

If, on the other hand, you have come to the right place, and want to meet and/or swap info with other "Dinosaur" owners, then you can subscribe to the Full Size Jeep mailing list (or any of the Jeep related mailing lists hosted by Off-Road.com) here

This is NOT an FSJ

These ARE FSJ's
