I only had to replace two of these due to a rotted grommet and elbow. Going to NAPA, I paid $8.66 for the grommet/ccv tube combo (part # BK 715-1365) and $21.18 for the elbow/assembly (part # BK 715-1367). I was too big a cheap-skate to get the third piece (part # BK 715-1366), which is the same price as the elbow/assembly. I may go back for that last piece just because...

I have a 1981 CJ7 that build up so much engine pressure it not only blows oil into the air breather, but also up through the oil stick tube, and I have also had to replace 3 valve cover gaskets. The engine runs strong and has never smoked. I have had it to at leat 4 mechanics, some say the motor is bad, and some say it is good but can not say why it has so much pressure building up to blow the oil out. I have change the PVC valve, one of the mechanics rerouted all of the vaccuum lines and ran a compression test and said the motor was sound. I am at my wits end with this one. We have 4 other jeeps from a 46 up to an 86, but this one is the only one that has this problem!! Can anyone give me a suggestion. Like I said it runs good and has never smoked. It just self changes the oil for you!! Once it was so bad it blew out onto the fender of the jeep.
