Rainbow City, AL - Due to the extremely good flex of the JK Wrangler, the rear coils can come un-seated from the rear axle coil perch during serious articulation. This can let the coil fall out of place causing the tire to compress into the flare or body and spoil a good day on the trail. Rusty’s has come up with a simple solution and with an installation time of about 15 minutes, you can have better peace of mind out on the trail. The Rusty’s retainer kit consist of a two 3/16" laser cut plate that bolts to the rear axle using two of our unique tab bolts. They are e-coated and powder coated for protection and a great look.
